Gaza Art Exhibition – confronting and inspiring

Currently on show is a confronting, yet inspiring, art exhibition from child and adult artists in Gaza, sponsored by the Major Issues and Theology (MIAT) Foundation and supported by the Middle East Council of Churches. The exhibition will be running from the remainder of the Season of Lent and during Easter 2017 in the Epping Uniting Church worship sanctuary. Last Day of Art Exhibition

Worshipers at Epping UC will enjoy their last immersion with the International Art Exhibition: Jesus, Laughing and Loving on Sunday 18 December. Several groups and many individuals in the community have enjoyed this unique experience pre-Christmas 2016. Three seminars were held in conjunction with it, and the visiting groups included the Religious Education Department of the Ravenswood School and the RSL Granny Smith Day Club. Dissolving, Imagining, Reforming, Flying   Caterpillars lose their skin first, leaving a soft rubbery chrysalis. Inside are imago cells, containing the DNA coded instructions for turning the caterpillar into a butterfly. We will explore the process of change through altering our finished artwork.
